First Snow

Rogue got to experience her first snow this weekend and from the pictures below, you can tell that she thinks much more of it than I do. She was going crazy runing and jumping in it, the best thing for me though is that it is finally something she can eat off the ground that I don't have to worry about.

I love the fact that Home Depot lets you bring your dogs in and Rogue loves it too. We generally spend most of our time greeting every person in the place because they all want to come say hi to the cutest little puppy in Toronto (sorry Peanut, the cutest little black puppy in all of Toronto). And Rogue just loves to play with all the kids, what a wonderful place to shop. I wish more stores were as lenient with dogs.

My little Roguey has finally figured out how to get back down the stairs, she has been going up for awhile now, but then she would stand at the top and bark until someone brought her back down again. What a character! So last week all the sudden she just decided to take the plunge and for all you that have substantial stairs in your houses, it is a great way to tire out a rambuncious puppy, actually it is the best remedy I have found so far. I am generally on the ground floor, whereas my boyfriend spends all his free time upstairs (on the computer), so that little doggy is running back and forth between us all evening. It is really very amusing.

Anyway, she is recovered from her spay surgery, the stitches came out last night and she is all revved up to get on with her wicked puppy ways. I'm glad my little girl is back to her old self.

Crazy Mutt Update

Well A Pug's Life was right, she has too much pent up energy, I thought I was being a good Mommy keeping her quiet after her surgery, but last night we had enough and ran her around like the crazy dog that she is and VOILA!, my sweet little monster is back, she only bites my feet everyonce in awhile again and she has seemingly stopped peeing in inappropriate places (for now anyway, just wait until the teenage months), So thanks for your advice, it really helped, maybe I should start watching those shows too.

Okay I think Rogue has become possessed by the devil dog. Ever since her surgery she has become a crazy biting, peeing whirlwind. She is having accidents that she has not had in months, she is peeing on the bed, I can't walk two feet without her atttacking my toes. I don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated!

I figured out the mystery of life, never try to work from home with a puppy! Rogue won't let me sit at the desk to work she keeps biting my toes, so I have given up and am on the couch in the most uncomfortable position while she sleeps cozily tucked up against my side. What a spoiled litle dog.

She is doing very well with her stiches, they don't seem to bother her much, what a relief!

Well Rogue came through her surgery just fine, she was very groggy through Saturday and Sunday morning, but she is back to biting my toes and getting into trouble, so I guess she is pretty much back to normal. But if you thought she looked miserable in her sweater picture just wait until you see her in the cone, she was absolutely forlorn, my poor baby.
